RICHMOND, Va.—Yesterday, the Virginia House Democratic Caucus elected their leadership to guide them in the 2022-2023 term. In addition to Speaker Eileen Filler-Corn elected the next Democratic Leader and Delegate Charniele Herring selected as Caucus Chair, the following members were chosen to assist in leading the Caucus in the following roles:
Treasurer – Delegate Betsy Carr (HD-69)
Secretary – Delegate Marcus Simon (HD-53)
Vice Chair of Operations – Delegate Jeion Ward (HD-92)
Vice Chair of Outreach – Delegate Don Scott (HD-80)
Sergeant at Arms – Delegate Elizabeth Guzman (HD-31)
House Democratic Caucus Executive Director Jaime Reimers released the following statement in response:
