RICHMOND, VA – Today, Speaker-designee Don Scott announced he has selected Delegate David Bulova to chair the General Laws Committee in the 2024 General Assembly Session. Delegate Bulova has served in the House of Delegates since 2006. He previously served as Chairman of the Committee in the 2020 and 2021 Legislative Sessions.
Speaker-designee Don Scott said, “I am thrilled to name Delegate Bulova as Chair of the General Laws Committee. He has shown his devotion to the people of Virginia through his commitment to community service, years of service in the House of Delegates, and his work on the General Laws Committee in the last few sessions. Without a doubt, both the Committee and the Commonwealth will benefit from Bulova’s expertise and dedication.”

Bulova’s position as House General Laws Committee Chair will become effective upon Scott’s election as Speaker by the House of Delegates, after the members take their oaths of office on the first day of Session, January 10, 2024.
